John

John has spent his career to this point in commercial roles in the healthcare industry. Johnson & Johnson and Amgen combined represent over 36 of his 39 years in the industry. He has a heavy background in sales and development of staff. His focus with Night Lizard Brewing Company is customer satisfaction by crafting the best possible beer while at the same time giving back to the environment.

Chip

For the past 20 years Chip has been trying to find his niche. He has worked in the retail, biotech, education, environmental protection, construction and service industries. But none have been able to capture his love of the outdoors and delicious beer.  This led to the creation of Night Lizard Brewing Company and its unique mission to create the highest quality beer and give 10% back to the environment.

JP

John Piel joined Night Lizard in 2020 as a brewer. His love of craft beer inspired him to learn everything he could from Chip. John enjoys brewing, managing, and bartending in Night Lizard’s atmosphere. When he’s not at the brewery, his favorite thing to do in nature is to sail the Catalina 270. Being a professional ballet dancer gave him the privilege to perform all over the world, giving him an appreciation of gardens like Lotusland here in California.

Shannon

Shannon is our Marketing and Events Manager and joined the Night Lizard team in 2022. Shannon’s passion for creating community and enjoying the outdoors inspires the events and programs we host here at Night Lizard. When she’s not behind the bar or booking local musicians, Shannon enjoys hiking the local trails, traveling, and gardening!
