William Hoyer is a biologist with a BS in Plant Science from Cornell University. Currently, he manages the natural resource program for rare and endangered plants, insects, pinnipeds, invasive species and other terrestrial and marine life found on the Channel Islands. His field work includes work with rare plants, Island Fox population monitoring, pinniped population monitoring, Island Night Lizard monitoring and re-location, habitat restoration and invasive species control.
